Austrian filmmaker Peter Kubelka is one of the great artists of avant-garde film. He is known for such masterpieces as "Mosaik im Vertrauen" (1954/5), "Arnulf Reiner" (1958/60), and "Pause!" (1977). He visited Minnesota in 2005, and in his presentation at the Oak Street Cinema, he lectures about education and the process of filmmaking, as well his relationship to music.
